Leda and her family lived in Lee Center since 1951 until recently, when they moved to New Hartford. Her husband, Anthony, an electronics engineer, remained at Griffiss AFB with the Rome Air Development Center until his retirement in 1977.

The couple moved to Rome, with the transfer of the Watson Laboratories in December of 1950. "Tony" De Minco, a blessed union which endured for over sixty years. On April 3, 1948, she was united in marriage to Anthony P. The family established residence in the Fordham section of the Bronx, NYC. In October of 1929, Leda left Italy accompanied by her mother and sisters, Clara and Wanda, and joined their father, Oreste and brother, Celestino, in the United States. Leda was born on June 5, 1921, in Orsogna, Italy, the daughter of Oreste and Felicetta Zuchero Saraceni. He was Chairman and Co-Organizer of the Bankers Bank, President of the Bank of Union, Co-Founder of Community Bankers Association of Oklahoma, where he served as Chairman and Board Member for several years.Obituary: Leda Saraceni De Minco, 87, of Preswick Glen, New Hartford, formerly of Stokes-Lee Center Rd., Lee Center, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at University Hospital in Syracuse, following a brief illness. He was a past member of the Minco City Council, member of the Minco Gas Board, retired member of the Union City Volunteer Fire Department, Co-Founder of Union City Industries with the purpose of recruiting the brick plant, member of the Minco Kiwanis Club, Union City Lions Club (District Governor), president of the Minco Booster (football) Club, Minco Bulldog Stats Keeper for 33 years, Minco and Union City Little League Baseball Coach, was a strong supporter of Minco and Union City FFA and 4-H Clubs, Minco Honorary Chapter Farmer, Union City Honorary Chapter Farmer, Honorary State Farmer Degree, Minco Fair Board President from 1979-1981, member of the National Guard for 8 years. Ray was involved in many professional, civic and religious organizations including being a member of The First Baptist Church in Minco, where he served as a Sunday School teacher, Deacon serving on multiple committees, served as treasurer and member of Gideons International. He married Barbara Jean Verser on July 11, !959 at the First Baptist Church in Minco, making their home there. Ray graduated from Central State University (now UCO) in 1959, with a bachelor's in science degree. When Ray was in 9th grade they moved to Fox, Oklahoma, where he attended school thru the 10th grade, before moving back to Minco, graduating in 1955.

Ray's father Clyde was a minister and was called to move the family to California where he attended school thru the third grade, they then moved to Minco. Services for Eldon Ray Ventris, 84, of Minco, will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, 10 am at thew First Baptist Church in Minco, a private family burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.Įldon Ray Ventris was born on November 20, 1937, to Clyde Arthur and Alees Elizabeth (Lumpkin) Ventris at Stillwater, Oklahoma, which is now the Stillwater Campus, he died at his home in Minco, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 84 years of age.
